(London), who is tot present in the Dominion ter tllo purpose of enlarging the scope and simplifying the- procedure ot school modelling, has had a most favourable reception hy the various Hoards of .Education in Australia ami America. He will give a practical demonstration in modelling And hand and: eye methods as applicable to elementary school teaching, at a special meeting of teachers in the Training-College Ball this afternoon. Mr Harbntt will also attend at the reception rooms of Messrs Whitoombe and Tombs at 3 o’clock to-morrow and on AVednesday for the purpose of mee'.ng the teachers and general public interested, and give a practical exposition in this most valuable educational adjunct. Mr Harbntt is accompanied by his daughter, Miss Olive, who also demonstrates in plastic methods, the modelling of animal forms, nature study, etc. 'Teachers will do well to avail themselves of this unique’ opportunity of a practical lesson in some newer forms of modelling at the hands of an artist.
