Five more outrages upon women, in rvhioh the assailants used “Jack the Ripper" methods, occurred' in Berlin yesterday, making the thirty-sixth'of the present series. Fifty persons were arrested on suspicion, but later all wore discharged. The police suggest that women and children should carry parcels of flour to throw ,at assailants for the purpose of recognition. They ascribe the outrages to a gang of criminals who. are acting for “sport,” in mockery of the authorities.
