Wheat.—Tho markets are strong and active owing to the continuance ot good demand which neutralise© tho effect of heavy shipments. Holders of cargoes are firm. An Australian cargo sold at 37s 9d; 13,000 quarters Adelaide March-April shipment, and 11,000 quarters Adelaide or Victorian March shipment were sold for 38s. Australian on spot is .scarce at 11s Gd. Flour.—Tho market is firm, with a hardening tendency. Australian patents are quoted in London at 2Ss Gd. Sellers are offering March-April-May shipments Glasgow, 28s to 28s 3d. Hatter.—Tho market is dull, and colonial is neglected. Choicest Australian is quoted at 102 a to 10-ls, and occasionally 10(5s; unsalted, 100 s to 108 s; New Zealand salted, 108 s; Danish, 114 s to 116 s. Cheese. —Tho market is firm. New Zealand white, GOs; coloured, scarce, G3s. Sugar.—German beet. 10s; first marks, 12g Id per cwt. f.o.h. Hamburg. Wool.—The Bradford market reports more business.
