LEVIN TRAINING SCHOOL.
Tho annual distribution of prizes at the Levin Training Farm took place mi Wednesday afternoon. Major Burhn&on referred to the satisfactory results of the school and outdoor work, and to the conduct of the pupils during the past year. Every lad received a prize, and a number of handsome special prizes were presented. -Mr 11. P. Levy*, official visitor, addressed the boys. Major Burlinson thanked the visitors for their attendance and Mrs Birss for distributing the special prizes. Major Burliu-r-on also thanked -Mr North and the local clergyman for their efforts in connection With the church and Sunday schools. The special prizes wore as follows: — Best boy-, Mrs Field’s medal, A. E. Whitely; best shot in -Cadet Company, Major Bilrlinson’s medal, J. G. Tnurstonj most popular boy, "Boys’ -Own. Annual," Mr Levy’s prize, B. Bichardeon; best boy in band, Mr Hardy’s (M.P.) medal. Sergeant C. G Fenton; farm boys, Mr Levy’s prize, “Young England,” D. Chidloy; farm boys,’ iarm overseer’s prize, James Juno; farm boys, farm overseer’s prize (watch), B. Richardson; most useful boy, watch, C. G. Fenton; best band boy, mouth organ, Albert Cook; best cookhouse boy, " book, Hugh Wilton; best laundry boy, knife, Richard I’cnrosc; best pantry boy, book, Robert Ncwlnnds: most improved garden boy, mouth organ, A. Jamieson; most conscientious boy, "Chums,” A. Hutchinson; best worker, brushes, IV. Smith; best scrubber, matron’s prize, post-card album. B. Boden; cottage home's best boy, book, M.
