CHRISTCHURCH MUSICAL CARNIVAL
Competitors are reminded that entries in vocal, elocutionary, literary and instrumental classes close on November 30th. Entries in all classes.are coming to hand freely, and there is no doubt the initial nrogramme of the Christchurch Competitions Society will be an unqualified success. The following appointments of adjudicators have been made:—Mr W. Short, L.R.A.M. (State trumpeter to His Majesty tho King) anu Mv Ea-eyevhs- (elocutionary and musical Dr Hight {Education Board), Dr Chilton (Canterbury College), C. E. Wright,.Esq. (Canterbury College), and Miss Ireeman (lady prTlidual Girton College), literary. Two bugle - competitions have now beeii added to the programme, one. for school cadets tncl one open class. Entry forms are obtainable at all music depots. The secretary, Mr G. W. Jenuer, Tennyson street, will forward _ full particulars to intending competitions.
