P. J. O’Eagan.—No good purpose served by continuing the discussion. "Moderate” (Bulls.H-Taumarunui electorate is a very extensive area, not at all coterminous with tho King Country prohibition area. There are hotels in the electorate, and although Tamnarunui township is in the “dry” area, the European electors have a right to exercise local option in just tho same manner as those living in constituencies unaffected by legislation specially intended to protect the Maori.
