SENSATIONAL DRIVING ACCIDENT.
A driving accident of a sensational nature took place at Wagga (N.-.AV.) on Sunday, November 8, when two girls received serious injury, and the other occunante of a buggy had miraculous escapes. A family party, including the mother and her two ' little girls, were driving along the road at night when the horse shied at a place where there is a dangerous embankment, and got beyond control. It plunged, and running over tho logs and embankment capsized the buggy, throwing the occupants in a heap to tho bottom of the gully. The driver stuck to the reins, and although much bruised and shaken eventually got control of the struggling horse. Kecognising that the women and children wele seriously injured, ho mounted the horse, and galloped into town for assistance. The party was later on brought to town in a cab.. It was found that both of the girls had their left arms broken. Neither of the women had any benes broken, but they suffered severely Lorn bruises’ and shock, the elder being m a state of collapse. The driver, who was only recovering from severe illness, was considerably shaken.
