COLLAPSE AT A MILL.
Messrs Ira Ickringill and Sons' spinning mills, Legraans lano, Bradford, collapsed with n loud crash a few days ago. A huge quantity of wool, timber, and masonvy fell, breaking through the fifth Hoor, which was heavily weighted with spinning machinery, as though it wore matchwood. Withiu a minute or two a largo portion of the mill was reduced- to ruins. It was with considerable relief that the crowd which quickly assembled realised that the catastrophe had occurred during the period set apart for dinner. There ano SOO workpeople altogether, and had the building collapsed during the working hours at least thirty must have been buried beneath the debris. Several girls who lived at a distance had brought their diiunor with thorn, and the first not of tho manager, Mr Width old, was to have the roll called. This revealed the fact that one girl was missing,, but five other girls who were on tho premises at tho time escaped with bruises.
