The Australian amateur Rugby team, the “Wallabies,” met and defeated a combined fifteen representing Northumberland and Cumberland by 18 points (four tries, three of which were converted) to 6 (two tries). (Received November 5, 10.15 p.m-) LONDON, November 5. In the first half McCabe, Middleton, and Bussell scored tries, Carmichael converting the first two, while Northumberland obtained a try. The local men showed improved form in the second spell, and’ at a later stage scored another try. Dix was responsible for a fourth try for the “ Wallabies,” and Carmichael added tho major points.
