THE WELLINGTON CLUB. A satisfactory report will be presented to the members of the- Wellington Amateur Athletic Club at the twentieth annual meeting on Friday evening nest. Not only is the financial position, as disclosed by tho balance-shaet of a cheering nature, but the report makes allusion to tho distinction gamed by certain of tho members during the year. Reference' is mada to the performances of H. E. Kerr at the Olympic Games, , to those of 11. E. Kerr and G. S- Sharp ini lAu|trVJasian 'Championship events, to those of 11. Henderson, E. E. Fisher, G. S. Sharp, J. Wallace, and H. E. Kerr in New Zealand Championships, and to thosa of H. E. Kerr, W. H, Pollock, W. Gosling, and E. E. Fisher in provincial championships. Tho challenge cups were won as follows: —Mr IX. D. Bell's Cup, 11. Casey and T. Lambert; Mr J. Duthio’s Cup, D. Casey; Mr Tripp's Cup, T. Lambert; Mr D. Nathan's Cup, L. E. Paul. Tho balance-sheet shows that the year’s receipts totalled <£s2 17s 3d, there being a balance of £l4 15s lOd to the good at tho end of the season. The chief item among the receipts is <£33 10s from members' subscriptions. Donations received totalled .£5 4s. Tho sum of £ll 11s was spent on trophies last season, while a further £l-1 14-s went on those outstanding from the season before. The assets are set down at £6B 15s lOd, as against only £lO worth of liabilities.
