LETTER CARRIERS’ SOCIAL.
The Wellington letter carriers have decided to hold in future, in additiop to their annual smoke concert, a "social," po that lady friends may participate. The first of these "socials/' held in the New Century Hall, Kent terrace, was attended by about sixty couples, and passed off pleasantly. Songs werrsung by Mrs Costello and Kessrs Donaldson. Western. Durney, and viillinms. Music for the donees was supplied by Messrs Williams and Jupp, and fhe duties of M’s.C. woe earned out by Moists Couper and Duck. Mr K. H. Morris. Acting-Chief Postmaster, on b"half of those ]mosmrl. made a presentation to Mr H. I\. Courier, the secretary. for the thorough manner in which he had discharged hie duties.
