City made 116 in the first innings, North Shore losing four wickets for 37. The matches will be resumed on the 25th inst. HAWKE'S BAY SEASON ENDED. NAPIER, April 12. The Hawke’s Bay Cricket Association’s season has ended. United wins the first grade competition and Ahuriri the second grade. MATCH AT MASTERTON; MASTEBTON, April 12. The curtain was rung down on local cricket for the season on Saturday, when Maetorion A and Carlton A teams continued their match from the previous Saturday. The gome was uncompleted at the call of time, and the match was abandoned. Masterton made 195 and 55, and Carlton 175 and two wickets for 21.
