SUDDEN DEATH
OLD MAN DIES IN THE STREET. Wordsworth street was the econo of n sudden death yesterday aftornoon, William Guest, about 6G years of ago, an innmto of tho Ohiro Home, being taken ill and expiring shortly after. Deceased, a tailor by trade, was walking aJong tho thproughfaro about a quarter to 4, when ho was soon to sit down on the kerbstone by Mr Win. Piper who resides at 27 Wordsworth street. As Guest appeared to he unwell, Mr Piper wont to render him assistance. While Mr Piper was endeavouring to pet him on his feot, Quest suddenly collapsed. A doctor was immediately sent for, but his services were of no avail. Deceased hod been subject to fits during the last two months, having twice bad severe seizures, and his death was not unexpected by Air Truobridgo, master of tho Ohiro Home. Do Foil, the Homo physician, had attended him for Some time, and it is expected that after lie has made an examination of the body—which was taken to the morgue—ho will be able to give a certificate as to the cause of death, thus rendering an inquest unnecessary.
