AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
The Port Nicholson Amateur Athletic Club will hold a meeting on tho Basin Reserve to-morrow evening. The club has three events on its programme, viz.: —7syds, for which twenty-four entries have been received; 440yds, for club members only, twenty-seven entries; and two miles handicap, fifteen entries. The prizes in tho 440yds race will be two handsome trophies, presented by Mr W. Ferguson and Mr W. H. Pollock. .In addition to the running events the Thomdon Cycle Club will hold a bicycle race, over a mile and a half, at the meeting.
