THIEVING AT THE CHRISTCHURCH FIRE.
PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHEISTCHITBOH, February 21. George Barnes was found guilty at the Stipendiary Court to-day and committed to the Supreme Court for sentence on charges of stealing at the recent fire drapery, etc., belonging to H, ■R. Gott (value £2O), the Wellington Woollen Manufacturing Company (£l3), and jewellery, etc., the property of Alfred Henry Oakey (£52).
