The Federal-Houlder-Shire liner Thorpe Grange, which is to load in Now Zealand for West of England ports, left Sydney on Saturday for Wailara. Tho vessel will proceed from Waitara to either Picton or Wellington, and should arrive hero about Monday next. Tho Thorpe Grange is fixed to sail from Lyttelton on the 22nd instant for Avoiunouth. COOK STRAIT LIGHTHOUSES. The Government steamer Tntanekai, which left Wellington at 1 o’clock on Thursday morning to work tho Cook Strait lighthouses, returned to port shortly before midday yesterday, after landing stores at all places excepting Cape Palliser. A south-easterly roll prevented supplies being landed at the Pal. Iteer lighthouse. CORINTHIC, FROM LONDON. The Shaw, Savill and .Albion steamer Corinthic arrived in tho stream at daybreak on Saturday from London, via Plymouth, Teneriffe, Capetown, and Hobart. The vessel was granted pratique, and subsequently berthed at No. 1 south, Queen’s Wharf. The Corinthic left London on December lit;; and Plymouth on the following day. Capetown was reached on January 6th. Tho vessel sailed again the same day. Variable westerly weather was encountered. Captain Hugh F. David, 8.N.R., has with him tho following officers :—Chief, Mr J.
