Mr .fames Ashcroft held an inquest tresterrlay afternoon at the residence of I lartic.l Connolly, Camp road, Lower Sntt, concerning the death of his son, nrtin Kevin Connelly, aged ten years. Constable Patton obtained a boat, and a boy named James Butler recovered the body about an hour after the accident.

Tho jury returned a verdict of accidentally drowned.

Mrs Margaret Spernco, who is said to be about seventy years of age, was taken to fcho hospital last evening suffering a dislocation of her collar-bone. It appears that when passing the Post Office aho slipped, and fell heavily on tho pavement. Her condition last evening was regarded by tho medical authorities m satisfactory.
