The Imperial Chancellor, Prince Buelow, speaking in the Reichstag, made a warmly appreciative reference to the recent reception accorded to tho Kaiser in England. He attributed tho past estrangement of Great Britain and Germany to a great mutual misunderstanding. Each had accused the other of objects and ideas which did not exist.
