The “lazy” strike on the Italian State railways has collapsed. ; , On November Ist it was announced that a. strike had begun on the Italian State lines as a protest against the punishment meted out to men who recently struck at Milan. The ‘Qazy” or "passive resistance" strike is a comparatively new weapon. It has some vogue in France, where it is termed "sabotage.” Instead of quitting work, tho employe© remains at his task and embarrasses employer and customer by performing his work aa badly as possible.
