WELLINGTON COLLEGE SPORTS.

The annual sports of the Wellington College wore held, yesterday. • Tho weather condition© were splendid. There was a largo gathering of ladies. ■ The only school record broken -during the day was that of the high jump (under 1G); This record, 4ft 91m, .made in 1885 by It. Harding, was broken by M. It, Stewart, who jumped 4ft lOiin. Tho record of 11. Cameron, for the high jump (open), sft 3iin*-niade in 1894, was equalled by this year's -winner of tho competition, M. 13. M. Tweeds. For the Kanfurly Cup, tor high jump, long jump, and hurdles, was tied tor by K. b. Adams and F. F. Tumor, each with five points. After Uio sports the prizes wore presented to tho winners byr Mr J. P. Firth.
