Xn» regard to the Persian frontier troubles, the Russian Legation in this city has deemed it necessary to warn the Persian National Assembly, which has not been long in existence, that if it is desired that the frontier should be maintained as at present it must take steps to secure more settled order in adjoining districts. Failing this Russia will be compelled to intervene, and use foroe if necessary.

The Assembly replied that during the. state of constitutional transition in Russia, similar disorders occurred in the Caucasus and at Baku, and that' as a Consequence suffering was caused to Persian subjects. ’
