Penalties. —Elat Races: The winner of - any flat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71b; and of any additional race or races a further penalty of 51b. Hurdles: The winner of any hurdle race. after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b, and for any additional hurdle race 71b extra. Definition of a Hack.—A hack is a horse that has not won a race of the value of 100 sovs, or races of the collective value of 250 sovs, up to date of nomination.
