MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
On Saturday there was a very large attendance of ■ guests at the residence of Mrs G. H. Scales (Lower Ham when a sale of work.organised by members of the Ministering Children’s: League, under tbo guidance of the hostess, was held on behalf of the above society. The stalls beautifully arranged and the building tastefullv decorated with tlaga. flowers, etc. A capital concert, given under the leadership of Mrs-Leighton, was contributed to hv the Missoa AUport. I'. Mason, and T. \V. Wii c on. An orchestra, under the oaton of jfr Billman. discoursed Items in the ball. Some side-shows enured much fun. Brisk sales were the order of tile day, resulting in nearly s iO. -The committee and missioned do-ire Jo thank all who made the proceeding* io fiucces-sfui.
