Three motions came before Mr Justice Williams in chambers yesterday, ,in the case-of Hrodrick and Co. versus'the barque Stephano Ea«etto, The motions wens for the appraisement and sale of the barque, for the removal of goods under ar*wit f * and for the‘ T rclm^6' gd'odSKttndMJtiirreat. Mr J Cook, on behalf of the. captain of the vessel, opposed the motion for 'appraisement and sale, asking that J the gale be postponed until the barque -had been docked and examined. Mr Hashing, who appeared for the cargo-owners, said it had been agreed upon to get the cargo released from arrest. He asked that .the . matter stand over until Tuesday, to give time for further inquiry regarding the cargo ana th Hiß Ve Ho l nor il 'ordorcd the motion. for appraisement and sale to stand .until next sittings in chambers.- and granted the other two" motions.
