Sales of 15 cargoes of Australian and 12.000 quarters of South Australian are reported at prices ranging from 34s to IDs a quarter. Australian on spot is held for 34s 3d; New Zealand is exhausted. The American visible supply of wheat east of the Rockies is estimated at 70.775.000 bushels. Flour.—The markets are strong. London quotation 23s to 24s 6d, Glasgow 375. Butter is dull and unchanged. There is a poor demand for colonial, except few choicest brands. Sugar.—German beet, 88deg. unchanged at Ivs; first mark granulated f.o.b Hamburg, Id lower at 11s 6d per ewt. WESTPORT, May 26. The Westport Coal Company’s output for the week was 88G1 tons 9cwts. AUCKLAND, May 26. The annual meeting of the Talisman Goldminiug Company will b© held in London on May 30th, instead of in July ao is usual. W© have received the annual report of the Mount Lyoll Mining and Railway Co. for the half-year ended March 31st lad. The output was 139,647 tons of ore. The ore treated for the period was 206,741 tons, which yielded 3790 tons of copper, 355,372 ounces silver, and 10,115 minces gold. The net profit for the half-year was <£264,935, after writing off .£30,025. The sum of £195,000 was distributed in bonus and dividend, and £28.300 was carried to reserve. Liquid assets, after providing for all indebtedness other than debentures still current, amount to £597,468. The Customs revenue and beer duty received at Wellington during the past week totalled respectively £10,916 10b 7d and £159 12s. Saturday’s Customs return amounted to £1867 16s 2d.
