HOSPITAL TRUSTEES
The Hon, C. M. Luke, M.L.C. (chairman), Messrs 11. Cook, G. Nash, B. Lee, G. London, and R. C. Kirk were present at a meeting of the Hospital Trustees yesterday. The House Committee recommended: — That Nurse Huddleston© bo promoted to position of sister; that tho resignation ol Probationer Edmonstone bo accepted; that certain suggested repairs bo carried out at the children's _ ward and to the footpaths; that the_ Nurses' Homo be connected with the hill tank: that labour be engaged to level and complete the outer grounds. —Carried. On the motion of Mr Kirk, authority was given to the Grounds Committee to make improvements in the grounds in the direction of tarring and asphalting roads and paths. The accounts showed outgoings to the extent of e £SGS 3s 7d for the fortnight, leaving a credit balance of .£903 5s sd. as against J313G9 9s lOd a fortnight ago.
