DAIRY PRODUCE SHIPMENT
RECORD FIGURES. Two Homo steamers have loaded dairy produce at Wellington this.week cargoes of butter and cheese, which augment the great increase noted at the time of loading the last fornightly boat in this year's shipments over-’those of last year. Up to December, 1905, the new season’s shipments totalled £168,075 worth of butter and £24,876 wortli of cheese. This year’s figures (as far as they are available, as the Paparoa has yet to load blitter at Lyttelton) are £251,970 worth of butter, and £25,423 worth of cheese. This week’s shipments were by tho steamers Paparoa and Kaikonra. Tho Paparoa took 47,177 boxes of butter and 5410 cases of cheese, made up as follows: Butter: Auckland 14,031 boxes, New Plymouth -13,330, Patoa 9713, Wellington 9383. Cheese: Audiland 243 cases, New Plymouth 1197, Patea 170, Wellington 937, Dunedin 695, Bluff 2768. The Kaikoura loaded 12,903 boxes of butter, and 3801 cases of cheese.
