FEDERAL ELECTIONS.
SIR, WHLLIAM LYNF7S CAMPAIGN BEGINS. STATE SOCIALISM DEFINED. SYDNEY, July 10. Sir William Lyno, Federal Minister of Trade and Customs, has opened his electoral campaign for the Hume seat in a speech delivered at Wagga. He declared himself to ho a Humanist and a State Socialist. Ho told his hearers in a couple of words what State Socialism meant—it was “Freetrade defeated.”
