THE BULLEN ILLUSTRATED LECTURES.

Mr Frank -Bullen, who has been attracting crowded audiences at Dunedin, closed his season there last night, and this evening he has been engaged by a committee of citizens to lecture at Gore. He cannot, theroiore. arrive in Wellington before Friday morning. For his opening entertainment at th© Opera House, in th© evening, the plan of seats will open at Holliday's this morning. Only the front stalls will bo reserved, fcho dre»is circle, as well as th© stalls, being kept for th© patrons of nnresorved seats.

CHARITY CONCERT. Attention is called to the very attractive concert to b© given at the Town Hall to-morrow evening in aid of St. Joseph's Home of Compassion and tho Sisters of Compassion (popularly known as tho Little Sisters of the Poor.) An excellent programme has been arranged, to which the Wellington Lzedertafel, ivUnifie's orche<Y;ra, Alios Amy Hyde, Miss Leonore Pulsford, Mis® Lillian Irvine, Rov. Father Ainsworth, Messrs Cyril Towsey, E. J. Hill, A. S. Ballanco and J. P. Carr will contribute. Th© box plan is now open at the Dresden Piano Company's warehouse. Holders of 5s and 3s tickets are to enter by the Cuba street entrance, and .the 3s tickets will be taken at th© Victoria street entrance.

A new series of pictures will be presented at His Majesty's Theatre next Saturday by the Globe Syndicate. The series includes a representation of the funeral of the late Hr Seddon.
