Hack Definition,—No horeo shall be eligible to start in the Hack Events which has. at the time uf nomination, won a race of the value of 80 sovs to the winner, or races of the aggregate value of 200 so vs to the winner. The amount won by any horse in fiat races, hurdle races, or steeplechases respectively, shall be estimated separately, and shall not debar sucli horse from entry except in the special class of race in which he has won the amounts. 4. Description, age, pedigree, and performances of horses, and colours of riders, must accompany any nominations. Entries must be accompanied by cash, cheque, or Post Oflice Order. Note.—Every entry shall state the name or assumed name of the owner or Bookmakers will be excluded from racecourse ami enclosures. Money will be received on the usual condition for invest-' irmnt on the totalisator by the Secretary. Plat Races—The winner of any flat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101b* and of every additional race a further penalty of 61bs. Horses handicapped at 8.10 or oyer, to carry only half the above penalties. Hurdle Races—The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lOlbs in the hurdle races. Bookmakers, their Clerks, Agents, or Assistants will not be allowed on the grounds of the Taratahi-Carterton Racing Club.
