Non mean news received here states that a French' warship from tho New Hebrides reports that, with the British warship Pegasus, she landed a force at Bushman’s Bay, and surprised the village of Nevaar. Five natives were killed, several wounded, and fifty captured. Tho villagers had frequently attacked the whites, and challenged tire warships to attack.
