NEW ZEALAND PRIZE EXHIBITS.

The New Zealand exhibits have boon very successful at the Crystal Palace, where the Colonial and Indian Exhibition is entering upon its last week. The prize-list, which is now available for publication, shows that tho New Zealand court has carried off thirteen grand prizes, twenty-six gold medals, five silver medals, and one bronze medal. The following arc details cf the awards:— Grand Prizes. —New Zealand Govern-. ir.Giit (seven), for completeness and excellence of general exhibit, for trophy representing New Zealand dairy industry, for butter, for cheese, for fleece wool, for grain in sheaf, and for hops; Christchurch Meat Company, Limited '(two), for frozen meat, etc., and slipo wool; G. G. Stead (two), for grain and peas; J. T. Griffin (one), for peas; Mosgiel Woollen Factory Company, Limited (onof, for woollen goods. Gold Medals.—Now Zealand Government (five), for hemp, for timbers, for photographs, for sport exhibits, and for agricultural and other publications; G. G. Stead (three), for grass seed, for clovers, for .vegetable seeds, and for forestry seeds; J. and T. Meek (three), for flour, for oatmeal, and for bran; J. T. Griffin (two), for barley and clover: Christchurch Moat Company, Limited (two), for preserved meats, etc., and tallow, oloe, oils, etc.; Gear Meat Company, L'mitcd (two), for slipe wool and tallow; Dalgcty and Co.. Limited (one), for scoured merino wool; Wellington Woollen Company, Limited (one), for woollen goods; Underwood Milk Supply Company, Limited (one), for condensed milk; E. Mitchelson and Co.-(one), for kauri gums; Donaghy and Co., Limited (one), for rone, cordage, and bindingtwine; Auckland Veneer and Timber Company, Limited (one), for ornamental cabinet, door, and veneers; Frank Hyams, Limited (one), for greenstone .jewellery ;, Mav-Oatway Syndicate. Ltd. (one), for “Safety” combined iionscbeil and fire-alarm*. Silver medals have been awarded to the following Gear Meat Company, Limited, for preserved moats, etc.; S. Kirkpatrick and Co., for preserved fruits, jams, etc. : J. T. Griffin, for beans; New Zealand Canning Company, for tinned fish; G. E. Butler, for oii paintings; and Thomson and Co., for mineral waters.
