FAMINE IN SPAIN.
GOVERNMENT INACTIVE. MADRID, August 16. Famine and starvation are general in Andalusia. Children are eating lir cones and wild cactus. There is intense Indignation at the Government’s inaction, and present signs pointy to a revolt. Fifteen thousand labourers are roving the country. Many of them are armed with rifles.
