Some ot the Napier and Auckland entries not being to hand yet. have therefore not been handicapped J. Arnst (Timaru) starts from scratch, C. G. Smith (Hastings) 2min. H. P. Arnst (Ashburton) 3min, H. Henderson (Palmerston North), and M. Randrnp (Timarn) smin Twenty-eight competitors have sUmm start, the greatest handicap allotted.
