The Customs revenue received yesterday totalled £2623 14s 2d. The -Vow Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received the following cablegram from London, under date tlie 13th inst.:— Wo quote present spot values for the following descriptions of tallow :-r-Fino mutton 26s 6d, good beef 24s 6d, mixed 23s 6d. Fin© mutton—Market dull. COMMERCIAL CABLES. PRESS ASSOCIATION. LONDON, April 12. At the tajlow auctions 1559 casks were offered, and 917 sold at late rates to threepence advance. Copper—On tne spot. £67 15s 9d per ton; three months’, £6B Is 3d. Tin—Spot, £143 15s per ton; three months’, £136 ss. Lead, £l2 16s 3d per ton. NAPIER, April 13. The following cable message was received by the Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company from London today:—A fall of id per lb on first quality lamb and Jd on second quality has taken place. Quotations: —Canterbury mutton, 4|d; Napier, Wellington, and North Island, 3Jd: first quality lamb, 5Jd, second s|d; hindquarters beef, 3jd, fores 3|d.
