STEAMER STRANDED.
(Received April 9. 5.12 p.m.) LONDON, April 8. The steamer Ashuiount, 3579 tons, Captain McDowell, which left Adelaide on March 2nd for Liverpool, is stranded near 'East London, South Africa, with sixteen feet of. water in the hold. The crew has left her.
