HIS HOPES FRUSTRATED. LONDON, April 8. The Vienna correspondent of “The Times” states that the Kaiser’s hppes, which were, firstly, to separate Franco and England; secondly, to induce Italy to repeat her flirtation with France; and, thirdly, to dictate terms to France, have been frustrated for the time being owing to Britain's attitude. . . _ ROME. April 7. King Victor lunched on the German. Imperial yacht Hohenzollern. The Kaiser will prolong his visit.
