From Wellington she will proceed to Pelorus Sound to load timber for Lyttelton. Tho Union Company’s steamer Hawea, duo to-day from Westport, withh a load of coal for the company’s hulks, is to sail about midday to-morrow for Newcastle. . Tho New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Rakaia is due in the stream this morning from Waitara, to load bunker coal, prior to sailing for London. Tho Jane Douglas, due to-day from Nelson, is to sail this morning for Hokitika direct. The collier Kotuku, which is completing her overhaul at No. 16, Jervoie quay, is expected to be ready for sea to-mor-row, when she will probably sail for Westport. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Pakeha, from London, which arrived at Auckland on Friday morning, is expected to reach Wellington in time to commence discharging early next Monday morning. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Turakina, from London, which resumed her voyage to Wellington at 7 p.rn. on Thursday, is due at Wellington to-night, but will remain in the stream till early to-morrow morning, when she will berth at No. 1, south. 'The Marlborough Steamship Company 1 1 n:. ordered a new steamer to replace the \\ (dliiiglon-Blcnheiin trader Nambucca, vhiMi wa* wrecked a few months ago near .Sinclair Head. The new is to be built nt Foster, New South Wales, and will be of same dimensions a- Gie Nambucca, with passenger accommodation for sixteen persons. The hull of the vessel will be constructed of wood, and the engines arc to be supplied by Messrs Bow and MeLachlan, of Paisley, North Britain. The new steamer is to be delivered in about four mpuths.
