TELEPHONE EXCHANGES.
SIMULTANEOUS FERES. LONDON, April 5. Simultaneous fires occurred in three of the National Telephone Company’s exchanges on 28th February, caused by an electric train in that district. The railway lino rail was transmitting 600 volts, while the telephone cable used was carrying 22 volts.
