Mr Berthold and family left Featherston to-day for Gisborne, where they intend to make their home. Mr Berthold had been resident in Featherston for some . ten years. A meeting of the Oddfellows’ Lodge was held last night. The balance-sheet showed a surplus of £1750. A vote of thanks was passed to the lodge trustees for the satisfactory way in which they haa invested the funds of the lodge, the amount invested being £1660.
