THE AUSTRALIAN TEAM. DIFFICULTIES OF SELECTION. SYDNEY', January 10. In completing the Australian cricket team, the selectors picked Howell and Cotter without hesitation, but there is reason to believe thoro was a grave difference of opinion among the selectors over Darling and McLeod. Noble is understood to have desired two more bowlers, but was over-ruled. The team leaves for Auckland on February Ist.
