In the flying squadron relay race, Wanfanui. (Campbell, Meuli, Hunter and ’ownnll) beat Swifts (Hcgglun 2, Neven and Matthews). As a team from New Plymouth failed to put in an appearance to contest with Wanganui for the New Zealand Waterpolo Championship, a scratch game was played, in which the elaborate and deliberate fouls perpetrated were not the least amusing items. Both teams played well.
