RECEPTION BEING ARRANGED. LONDON, September 4. Preparations are being made to give the officers and men of the Discovery, which recently returned from the Antarctic, and is now on the way hero from New Zealand, a great reception. A luncheon null be held at the London docks, the Lord Mayor and representatives of the Admiralty and Royal Geographical Societies attending. The Geographical Society on the following day will give a banquet to the officers and scientific staff.

Captain Scott will read a paper before the Geographical Society in November.
