Every patent preparation, including world-famous brands, was used ; but not one could bo retained. This left little hope. As an off chance “Highlander Condensed Milk ” was tried. The baby not only took to it kindly, but thrived in a marvellous way. Occasionally our grocer substituted imported condensed milk. Again there was a set back. Wo had to return to “ Highlander.” Ultimately, when this obviously pura and nutritious Now Zealand product had carried the child past the critical stage, a “ bone-former " became necessary. We were then able to employ ono of the patent foods which had previously been rejected. Feeling indebted much beyond the trifling out' a y incurred, I have no hesitation- in placing ray experience at your service, for the life of my little girl—an only child was unquestionably saved by it.
