CROWN, SWORD AND BIBLE

An interesting group of relics, including tho crown, sword and Biblo of tho Erst Catholic King of Spain, is preserved religiously in Madrid. The defeat of the Moors in Spain and tho ascendency of Catholic monarchs were naturally epoch making events. Those who won the victory were of course Ferdinand and his queen, Isabella. Tho victory, among other things, insured tho spread of tho Catholic faith as well as the rule of tho crown and the sword. The grouping of these relics is unique in history.
