Tho vessel is due at Wellington about October 17th. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company s steamer Kakaiu, from London, is to sail from Auckland at noon to-day for Napier and Wellington. Tho Rnkaia is expected to arrive at Wellington on Tuesday morning. -

Tho British-India Company’s cargo steamer Snrada, from Calcutta, is expected to arrive, at Wellington to-day. She has been allotted berth No. 1, north. The local agents, tho Union Steam Ship Company, announce that the vessel will receive cargo at AVeUington for Calcutta, for which port she will sail early, and will call at Queensland en route. Tho bnrqncntino Volador, thirteen clays out from Clarence River, New South Wales, arrived off tho heads at mid-clay yesterday, and signalled for a tug. The Dnco took the vessel in tow to the stream, where she dropped anchor at 3.15 p.m. Pratique was grunted, and tho vessel will berth this morning at the Glasgow' Wharf. Captain Pearson reports an uneventful passage. The cargo comprises ironbark limber, distributed among the contractors rebuilding tho Railway AVharf, the AVellingtou-Alanawatu Railway Company, and tho Government Railways. Messrs J. AV. AA'allace and Co. are the agents for the Volador.
