ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
PBESS ASSOCIATION. INVERCARGILL, September 1. Robert Wiscombe, a young Tasmanian,, was. fatally injured at Olautau by a rail, way waggon passing over him. Ho war, driving a horee attached to the waggon, when the rope came off the hook. Wiscombe got in front of the waggon on ai;incline to replace tho rope and warknocked down. HAWERA, September 1. Robert Randle, a resident of Atakeho, aged seventy years, was killed while riding home from Manaia on Tuesday. The horse shied, and deceased was thrown with great violence to the ground. NAPIER, September 1. An elderly woman named Petersen was'found dead in a paddock behind her residence early this morning. .
