(To the Editor "N.Z. Times.”) Sir.—Thanks for your article in yesterday’s issue re delay in running electric cars. Had it appeared earlier it would have been appreciated. Tbe public generally have shown great consideration for those in charge of this matter in taking things so leisurely. Surely 'the express route oonld bo pushed along eo as to do away with the inconvenience to passengers of having to change cars. A. large number of people living in the nogubourhood north of Majoribauks street, Clyde quay and Oriental Bay are shut out from using the oars as now running. Not only does this moan inconvenience to largo numbers, but a loss of revenue to the Council. It has been suggested that experts are not in sufficient numbers. If this is so what about those who have made application from outside Wellington?—l am, etc., ANXIOUS. June 24.
