THE WELLINGTON CLUB. Fine, bracing weather marked the opening day of tho V\ cllington and suburban Coursing Club s second meeting .for tho present season, _ a]> Trentham Park enclosure tosloi cla>. Pno cnii ics included some ot Iho. best dogs tu* colony and the display of spon- all round was very pood, a largo percentage of the hares succeeding in preserving their fur. Tho attendance of the general public was not. however, as large as might have boon expected. The' arrangements wore very well carried out. great credit on the officials. Mr J- A. Pell acted as judge, during tho earlier part of tho programme, but some ot his awards did not find favour, with the onlookers, nnd Mr E. Wise was substituted.
