In the ladies’ ehigmpionslnp doubles, in connection with tho Auckland Tennis Association’s tournament, Mrs Cooper and Miss Harvey, of, tho North Shore Club, heat the Misses Nicholson, of the West End Club. In the semi-final of the men’s singles Grossman boat Billing. Tho final between Grossman, and Cooke will bo played at Mount Eden to-day. Tho semi-final of the combined event resulted in Billing and M:«s D. Tidy heating Ruddock and Miss P. Gome. The final will ho played this afternoon. In thd finaft or the wen’s doubles Cooke and Turner beat' Paterson and W. A. Brown.

The annual interprovincdal match between Canterbury and Wellington will bo played to-day on the Thorndou courts. The teams.are very evenly balanced, Wellington perhaps 'being strongest ip the men’s division, while the Canterbury ladies should prove slightly iho better.
